I am surprised by various aspects of your life in Saudi. Firstly, the attractive Club Med appearance of "The Compound" and also the apparent willingness of your children to sit and read. I wonder if this is a girl thing... apologies to A... or due to lack of exposure to corrupt western influences.
Yes much prefer this blog - sort of at my level. Can tell you are still relaxed and not into work mode due to the volume of postings - they will no doubt reduce as the months take their toll! What a misery I am! Just worked out I qualify for early retirement without loss of pension by this Christmas - hitch is they have to want to let me go!
Thank you for being such good hosts during our recent jet lagged stop over. Still feeling knackered and should be properly back at work.
